Wonderful Bing & Grondahl Copenhagen Porcelain figurine. This figurine, entitled, "Dickie's Mama" is in excellent condition and measures 8 3/4" tall. No chips, cracks, or damage. It is marked on the bottom, "Copenhagen Porcelain, Made in Denmark, B&G" with a handwritten 1642, BN. And there is also an IPI incised over the markings. This marking dates the figurine to manufacture between 1970 -1983. "Dickie's Mama" was gently displayed. We do not have the orginal box. The only item of note on the figurine, is that there is a little brush mark of a goldish paint on the back of the boy's head - it appears to be under the glaze and I believe it was done in the making. Its hardly noticible, but worth mentioning. This is a wonderful piece which retails for $995 on the Bing & Grondahl Direct website. Offers will be considered.
