Canberry Ruby Glass Basket Ground Pontil w/Optic Dot

Nice little cranberry glass basket with ruffled edge and clear glass handle. The design in the glass is similar to the optic dot pattern in Fenton and the quality is as nice as Fention, but we do not know its maker. The pontil on the bottom is ground, which I don't believe Fenton did this. The basket measures 7 1/2 inches, by 6 1/2 inches by 8 3/4 inches tall. No chips, cracks or damage. There is one line where the handle attaches to the base, that is a tool mark - and while you can feel it if you run your fingernail over it, it does not go through the glass - its just like a little ridge. A wonderful display piece for the cranberry glass lover!
